How to Join or Renew?

This is the best way to join PORC and it will give you your forum privileges immediately.

2. Mail in the check to the address provided after completing the online form.

 


Benefits
Upon your paid membership to PORC, you will receive the following:

  1. Map of the area trails

  2. PORC Bumper Sticker

  3. Members ID Card for bike shop discounts

  4. A copy of IMBA's "Rules of the Trail"

  5. Privileges on the PORC Forum

In addition to the packet of stuff above, you will be able to:

  • join in local or out of town group rides;

  • contribute to trail maintenance activities; 

  • support other cycling advocacy organizations;

  • get discounts on PORC gear (t-shirts, hats, etc) ; and,  

  • take advantage of PORC discounts at various bike shops and mail order companies.


Cost
Costs for a PORC Membership are as follows:

Type Cost Quick Description
Individual $20 A single applicant
Family $25 Single applicant plus one or two family members, such as wife or child.
Racing $40 Individual Membership with a free PORC T-Shirt
Business/Club $50 Business or other bike clubs only. 
Lifetime $100 You are set for life!

Memberships are valid for 12 months


Where the Money is Utilized
All monies will be used to purchase trail maintenance materials (wood, tools, sandbags), trail head signs, this web site & the forum, bumper stickers, PORC gear, newsletters,  and other items for trail improvement.  All monies are used for trail improvement and other club priorities.  

Also, a small portion of the proceeds are donated to other bike organizations, such as IMBA.


Conditions
Anyone can become a member of PORC.  The only conditions of the club are that Local Governmental/Institutional Rules, Policies, and authority are obeyed and PORC's "
Rules of the Trail" and other trail users are respected.  Involvement in trail maintenance and leading group rides is greatly appreciated and encouraged, but not required.
